Noodie’s BBQ

Noodie’s BBQ sauce, a one of a kind creation, is a closely guarded family secret recipe that has been a local staple since 1984.  Every 4th of July, a large portion of the Plantersville community, along with all their family and friends would take place in a BBQ at the pond of Noodie Carroll.  The main attraction of this BBQ would be a whole hog served on a table as an “all you could pull off and eat” serving that would be generously covered in this unique flavor.  The crowds that attended couldn’t wait to get their hands on more of “that right taste” of sauce.  Out of an effort to satisfy the demand of the community, Noodie’s BBQ sauce went into a few local stores.

In the beginning, this sauce was cooked in 5 gallon batches that were hand ladled into mason jars.  In the early 2000’s, the glass jars were replaced with a plastic bottle and the batch size grew to 25 gallons.  Today, three generations later, we’re back to a glass bottle with a new look, but the same recipe that has been cherished for all these years.  Whether you were brought up enjoying this product or have never tried it before, the one thing that can’t be denied is that you have never tasted a sauce with the same flavor or consistency as Noodie’s BBQ Sauce!
